how it works
claim a word
Any keyword, up to five words and forty-eight letters — coffee or machine learning. Unclaimed keywords start at $1. Pay it and the word is yours: your link and your tagline on that word’s page. Your listing is your link — we never show your name.
anyone can take it
The price to take a word is always higher than what the current owner paid — the current price plus 20%, and never less than $1 more. When someone pays it, the word is theirs and you are out. No refund. That is the whole game.
your money stays in the word
Everything you have ever paid on a word stays credited to that word. Hold ‘coffee’ at $50, lose it, and come back when the price to take it is $72: you pay $22, not $72. The credit never expires. It only works on that one word, and it is never cash — you cannot withdraw it, and it does nothing for any other word you own or want.
leftover pays for the next war
The smallest we charge a card is $20, however little the word costs. Anything above the price of the word becomes credit on your account — a separate pool from the word credit above. Spend account credit on any word, any time. It never expires and it is not withdrawable. When that credit covers a word outright we charge you nothing at all.
what you get, plainly
A listing on a page of this website for as long as nobody outbids you. Nothing more is promised. Read the terms before you pay.
